Truly Helping?

When we think about helping it’s hopefully with good intention, but sometimes the road to hell is paved with good intention. When we become overly obsessed with another’s problem and determined to help and solve no matter what, dependency, not healthy. Yes we should care, but not to where we are overly involved in a detrimental way. When we are looking to help we have to look at the whole picture, consider where the other person is at, the limited within ourselves of what we can and can’t do. It is important to know our own limitations and boundaries in various situations because we can end up doing more harm than good.
