Seasons

As we enter the season of festivities I came across this poem and thought about how life is like the weather. We have times of sun, rain, cold, day, night, calm starry skies and storms that seem to knock the breath out of us. Sometimes all we see is the night, the storms, the cold, rain, so in life we should strive to find light.

For me that light is my Christian faith, even at night I sleep to Gregorian chants or music of angels, it gives me great comfort. I also have my fluffy Maltese fur baby who gives me joy, and like any child also sometimes annoys me, but mostly is light and sunshine. We may lose leaves, some things in our lives wither and fall away, but if we have anchors and light then we can get through the cold, rain, night and storms. It is up to us to find constructive and healthy lights and anchors, and so I hope as I have found mine, you find yours.

Amen
